We have arrived in Miami, after a two-hour flight from Birmingham. There were no hiccups, which is a blessing based on all the flying horror stories I hear from friends.
We are staying at the DoubleTree by Hilton tonight. We should be able to board the cruise ship around noon tomorrow.
After checking in, we went shopping to get some last-minute accessories, clothing, and other necessities for our cruise.
After we unpacked everything, we went out for dinner, then came back to the hotel room, relaxed, and watched Friday Night Lights (the show we're binging these days).
